Analytic Philosophy
Emerging from the logical work of Frege and Russell, analytic philosophy turned to language, logic, and meaning as the primary objects of inquiry. Wittgenstein's two philosophies — the Tractatus and the Investigations — became its twin poles: one seeking the logical structure of reality, the other dissolving philosophical problems as grammatical confusions.
